Recreation

For our residents, a typical day at Beaumont can be as engaging as they wish. The Recreation Department assists residents in the pursuit of meaningful leisure activity reflective of their lifelong interests. The goal of the department is to maximize our residents independence and active involvement in daily life, promoting a sense of well-being and enhanced quality of life.

Coordinated by a full-time activities director, daily activities and social events range from cooking clubs, visits to our salon, exercise, and card games to barbecues, music programs, and resident council meetings. Participation, while completely voluntary, is always encouraged by our staff. Adaptations are made to ensure that our residents are able to actively participate within their abilities.

Monthly calendars, reflecting specific times and locations of programs offered, are posted on each unit and in each resident's room. Family members are welcome to join any program. Calendars are available for family members upon request.
