The Willows is a member of the Massachusetts Extended Care Federation (MECF), the state's largest long-term care provider association, representing over 500 continuing care retirement communities, assisted living residences, hospital-based transitional care units, and nursing and rehabilitation facilities. In all, MECF member facilities provide housing, health care and support services to nearly 50,000 people in Massachusetts. Since its founding in 1949, MECF's mission has been to improve the quality and delivery of long-term care services in Massachusetts through advocacy and education.
Benjamin Colonero, Executive Director of The Willows, is currently Vice President of the Corridor Nine Chamber of Commerce. Comprised of businesses in the Corridor Nine area including Westborough, Northborough, Shrewsbury and Southborough, its mission is to provide leadership which promotes business well-being and economic development opportunities through a cooperative and integrated approach with business, community and government resources.
