The Willows

Community Involvement

The Willows has become an integral part of Westborough, Massachusetts, a fast growing New England town. Our annual Summer Concert Series, host to a variety of Jazz, Swing, and Big Bands, has become a family tradition among townspeople and Willows residents alike. Area charities such as Westborough Food Pantry, WAVES (Westboro Abuse and Violence Education and Support), Siloam Masonic Lodge Angel Fund, and Nathan Fisher House benefit from all donations received during the concerts. Assabet Valley Pastoral Counseling Center, Inc., Westborough Historical Society, Westborough Land Trust, Westborough Music Parents, and the American Lung Association of Massachusetts have also benefited from our concert donations.

Numerous organizations, such as the Stardust Chorus, Westborough Community Chorus, and the Westborough Players Club utilize our stage and community room for rehearsals and performances. Willows residents also enjoy recitals by local music students. December brings townspeople and residents together for festive performances by the likes of Bell Ringers from The Evangelical Congregational Church of Westborough, and Hitz & Glitz with Debba Andree.

National Senior Fitness Day

The Willows at Westborough has celebrated National Senior Fitness Day since its inception. This national event is celebrated on the last Wednesday in May.  Each year we have a keynote speaker who is an expert in senior health, a nutritionist, chair exercise, various health screenings, entertainment, refreshments, and a raffle. The free program is available both to our residents and the public. Our aim is to be on the forefront of aging health research and pass this information along to as many seniors as possible. We want to make aging a more positive and fulfilling experience.
