Intergenerational Programs

On our Natick and Northbridge campuses, Whitney Place Assisted Living residents have numerous opportunities to interact with the children enrolled at our on-site Child Care Centers. Summertime often brings barbecues and ice cream socials. Cooler weather might prompt shared craft programs or morning visits with the children. The children find so many ways to communicate with their elders, through the spoken word, the touch of a hand, or simply a shared smile. The two groups take obvious pleasure in each other's company. No matter what the event, faces light up among both generations as they share the excitement and joy of these special moments.
